"Blue pitbulls are not rare and they are simply a way for losers with no morals to make money off a craze. I am not saying those dogs are not great dogs, I'm simply saying on a whole they have problems and their breeders are rotten scoundrels.."

What??!!! Not saying they aren't great, but on a whole??? That sounds a bit contradictory don't you think? If you say on a whole they have problems, how can you say, in the same sentence "I am not saying those dogs are not great dogs"?

"they are simply a way for losers with no morals to make money off a craze." ~ I'm sorry, but I'm personally offended by that.

First of all, we know blues aren't "rare" ~ there are so many in Hawaii now, it's not funny.

Second, we don't have blues because we want to make money off a "craze". We have blues because that's the color my husband really likes ~ not because it's different, because the dogs are beautiful!

Third ~ the reason we do breed our dogs is because we love the addition they've made to our family. They are great looking dogs with good temperments. We aren't concerned with trying to create the perfect show dog for personal gain. We are looking to share the positive experience we've had with our dogs with others by giving them the chance to have a puppy that came from good genetics as far as behavior is concerned.

Fourth - our dogs have had very little medical problems. Yes, our female, when she was younger had sensitive skin as blues tend to be more prone to, but that's it. As mentioned on our home page, only one of our pups was found to have a defect, a herniated umbilical cord.

I can't believe that we are possibly one of the "few" people like this that maybe don't fall under "on a whole"????

808 Blue Pitbull Testimonials

Coming Soon ~ Testimonials from people who've purchased puppies from our litters. My husband just ran into an owner of a male pup yesterday. We were happy to hear that he is 100% happy with his dog. The pup is now about 10 months old and the owner reported that his dog has a great temperment and looks great! Hopefully we'll be able to get pictures and add them to our site soon.

WOW - 808 Blue Pitbull Visitors!

As of this morning, January 20, 2006, there have been 2600 unique visitors to www.808BluePitbull.com for the month! Unbelievable! This site has been up and running since September and the number of visitors continues to increase by leaps and bounds. Last month was a record high of 1229 unique visitors and this month we're already to 2600 with over 10 days left!!!

I have no idea who this young man is, but a 16 yr old must have liked our blue pitbull pictures because he's got them posted at his My Space webpage. Great Spiked Leather Collar for Blue Pitbull

Check out this cool leather spiked collar! This particular one is 1.5" wide and 24" long. This isn't really big enough for a big pit, but should fit on one that's about 55-60 lbs. Click on the image for details on where to buy this collar. We had one like this for Angel, but she outgrew it, so we gave it to one of her puppies.

American Pitbull Terrier Book - Character

Regarding the character of the APBT, according to the book American Pit Bull Terriers pitbulls are "submissive, intelligent, and eager to please."

Excerpt from the book:
"The APBT is a very stable dog with a solid temperment. The last figures I saw from the American Canine Termperament Testing Association showed the APBT ranking fourth in the list of breeds with the highest percentages of passing. A total of 95% of the APBT's tested passed, which is really saying something about the breed since the average for all breeds combined was only 77% passing."

Blue Pitbull Koni snaps cable

Our "puppy", Elekoni, has snapped another cable. When we are not home, sometimes we hook him up to a 30+ foot cable. He's snapped 3 of these so far. I know you're thinking that it's probably the clip/hook/connecting hardward that broke, but it's not. The actual cable broke in two. We recently found a pet store that carries much thicker cables than the pet store that we usually go to, so I think we'll be picking up one of those. Unfortunately the snapped cable was thrown away so I can't take a picture of it to show you.

I wonder what it is that he wants to get to when this happens....hmmmm.
