Blue Pitbull Pictures

We just got these pictures from Danny (owner of Nenny and Amaya). These are his three pits. Nenny and Amaya are both pups of Angel and Polu Boy. Tank (black male) is Ho'omalu and Li'ili'i's brother (same litter).

Thanks to Danny for sharing these pics with us!

Here they are taking a break from life

And here is the most recent picture. Boy that Amaya sure is getting big!

Nenny's face reminds me so much of Angel and Amaya's reminds me a lot of Koni's.

Pitbull Puppy Ear Cropping

We took our pups to get their ears cropped. Here are a couple of pictures of them when we picked them up at the vet. There are also a few more pictures on Page 5 of our Pitbull Gallery. We went to Kokua Pet on Dillingham in Kalihi for the cropping.

Pitbull Problem Video - Must See

Have you every seen the "Pitbull Problem" video. Allen and I feel this is a must see video. Some of the images are rather graphic and for me it was very, very moving. I really, really like the ending though. The end portrays the type of image that we try to show here. We want to show people that you can have good experiences with pitbulls. I just love the pictures toward the end that shows pitbulls as I know them to be. Yes, I know there are dogs out there that are harmful - notice I said "dogs" not just "pitbulls" because it's NOT only pitbulls that can be dangerous. ANY dog, not properly cared for can be harmful. But dogs that are properly cared for, pitbull or other breed, can be great additions to your life.

One thing Cesar Milan said on one of his "Dog Whisperer" episodes was very interesting to me. He was talking to owners of a dog that had become completely obsessed with rocks. So much so that he would chew and paw at it until his mouth or paws bled. Cesar said that no dog in their natural environment would become obsessed with anything. Pack leaders to not allow it. Only when they live with us, humans, do they develop this type of problem. I'm sure that's not the only type of problem that humans are responsible for in pitbull's lives.

Anyway - if you've never seen this video before, check it out by clicking the link below:

Update on pitbull puppies

Ho'omalu and Li'ili'i are getting bigger and bigger. The pups are now 12 weeks old. Ho'omalu is now 20 lbs and Li'ili'i is 12.5 lbs. Remember at 6 weeks, they were about 8 lbs, and 2 lbs respectively so they are growing fast. We have some more current pictures and will share them soon. If you don't know who Ho'omalu and Li'ili'i are or haven't had a chance to see their other pictures, click here.

We were on vacation for a week and it seems like they lost a bit of their discipline. When we went outside before, they used to know their boundaries, now they go beyond where we want them to go, so we'll need to re-train. *sigh* They do still sit before I give them their food though so that's good. Anyway, be on the lookout for new pitbull puppy pics.
