Introducing Mana Loa - Blue Pitbull Pupppy Pictures

Well, finally I got these pictures of Mana on my computer and uploaded to the site. Here are a few pictures of the little guy. His legs are so thick and he's got some good size paws! His scheduled release from the Hawaii Animal Quarantine is 11/20 ~ because Hawaii is a Rabies free zone, all incoming dogs (and cats) must go through quarantine. Can't wait to bring him home, but until then, we just have to visit.

Seeing our blue pitbull puppy today

Yippee! Our puppy arrived as scheduled yesterday afternoon. So we are going to the animal quarantine today to visit him for the very first time. I hope I remember to take my camera. I better to put it in the car right after I finish typing this. Allen and I are excited to see this little guy. The kids don't even know he's here yet or that we are going to visit today so they'll be excited too.

I'll post pictures within the next few days for sure (if not later on tonight). Well, off to pick the kids up from school so that we can go visit Mana Loa!

Yes! Pitbull puppy arriving Sunday

Yippee! We just got word that our new blue pitbull puppy will be arriving on Sunday afternoon. I don't know if we'll be able to see him or not. Because of Hawaii's quarantine laws, the puppy will be taken by the airline directly to the quarantine station. There are visiting hours on Sunday, but I don't know that he'll be ready to visit by the time the visiting hours are over.

Either way, we'll see him next week! Oh yeah, and we decided on Mana Loa for his name.

Getting Juan Gotty's Grandson!

Since we were unable to work out the logistics of breeding one of our females with Mikeland's Blue Gator, we were able to arrange to get a puppy instead!

This male puppy is from the Blue Gator x Summara breeding. As you probably know, Mikeland's Blue Gator is the direct son of the Notorious Juan Gotty.

Anyway - can't wait to get this pup. He should be shipped to us within the next week. We've already finalized payment to Mikeland for this little guy.

Unfortunately, when he arrives, he'll have to stay in Hawaii's quarantine for a while before we can bring him home. We'll be sure to post pictures though (even before we can bring him home).

At this point, we are still trying to pick out a name for him. My favorites are:
Mahoe's Mana (powerful)
Mahoe's Mana Loa (mighty/very powerful)
Mahoe's Maka or Makamaka (favorite)

But I'll have to see what Allen thinks of those names.

Possible Breeding - Elekoni

We just had an inquiry to stud Elekoni, so we may have another breeding to announce. The female should be going into heat at any time now. Hopefully by the end of the month we'll have more details. If we do go ahead and do this breeding, we'll definitely post pictures of the female as well as more information about her. We'll update you with the expected due date of the puppies and give you the information on how you can get a puppy from that litter.

Gotti better than Razors

This is just our personal opinion, but we really like the look of Gotti pits better than Razors. They just seem to be better proportioned and more muscular. This was evident in the pitbull videos we just watched. I'm not sure of the names of the ones we saw, but there were some Razors Edge pits and a bunch of Gotti pits and we just thought the Gotti pits looked so much better. Juan Gotti's sons (Monster and another blue and white that was shown, I didn't catch his name) - they were beautiful! Okay, maybe that's not the word to use, I thought they were beautiful. Guys would probably use some other words to described them.

We're also partial to the Sierra/Gaff look as well. But everyone has different tastes.
