What's BIG to you?

Allen had a phone conversation the other day about Big Pitbull Heads. A guy asked him if our dog had a "big" head or a "huge" head. Allen, of course, said it would depend on what a person considered to be big and what one considered to be "huge."

So - out of curiosity, what do you consider to be a "huge" pitbull head (for a male)? And what would you consider to be big/decent/nice, but not "huge?"

Let us know, in inches, what your answers are - click on the comment link below and leave your answer.

Opppps thats my post
OK that was my decent size head post below....

23" head on a 16" pit would look unreal
23" head on a 20' pit would not look as good, still good but not as good.
So i'd say depending on da height & weight of da dog.

Head Size doesn't matter.

If you are that concerned about it you are in the wrong breed, and judging by the pictures of your dogs, you've got nothing more than some commonplace American Bullies anyways.

LOL - somebody has issues. This post was not made because it's something we're concerned about. This post was written because it's a question we get asked a lot. People want to know if our dogs have big heads. We were curious as to what other people think is "big" or "huge."

Personally, we think our dogs have "nice" heads. Heads that are in proportion to their bodies. We don't have dogs that have just big heads, or just big chests, or any ONE feature that stands out about them. They are all around good looking dogs and that's what we like about them. Not big body, small head. Not huge head and nothing else.

One guy told us he thought 23" was HUGE - for us, we don't think so. Everyone has their own opinion on what is big vs what is huge and everyone has their own preference as to whether or not a HUGE head makes a great pit. We just wanted to see what other people out there thought. ;)

Not being previous pitbull owners, when we first met/saw Koni, we were amazed at the size of his head, neck, and chest- he's a good, sturdy, muscular dog. We hope our pup looks just as beefy when he's older.
