New Picture of Moose

Moose is now 5 months old. Here's a picture we took of him on April 1st. Like Fella, he was about 50 lbs last time we weighed him over a month ago. He'll also be ready to stud to approved females by the end of the year (Gotty Grandson).

That dog is huge!!!!! I wouldn't buy a "gotty" line if my life depended on it. Gotty had to be a mix, he is way tooooooo big to be full APBT.

If you dont like the way gottiline looks thats your problem. I on the other hand love all APBT and dont care what bloodline it is if its a pit I like it. People have thier own likes of the way they want thier dogs to look If you dont agree with thier dog leave your comments to yourself. Nice pit man he is gonna be a monster people like to put other people down because they probably cant handle a pit so they own poodles and shit like that. Gotti blood all the way!!!!!!

Don't get me started. A real "Pit" person would want a APBT that is to the standard. Desirable weight for a mature male in good condition is between 35 and 60 pounds. Desirable weight for a mature female in good condition is between 30 and 50 pounds. Dogs over these weights are not to be penalized unless they are disproportionately massive or rangy. Not to mention APBT's are medium-sized, solidly built, short-coated dog with smooth, well-defined musculature. This breed is both powerful and athletic.

Oh and by the way. A responsible breeder of the true APBT would wait til they had titles and health tests that prove that he is worthy of being bred.

This is not a thread to be pointing out a standard weight of a dog or how dog should be. Im saying if you dont like the dog why leave a comment. Oh and by the way theres is a big diffrence in size when it comes to Bluenose APBT and Rednose APBT as you can see on this site it is all Bluenose APBT so expect them to be bigger then standard. Alot has changed over the years with the APBT even with the Rednose APBT they are bigger then what you call standard the only standard APBT I see now days is the ones used for fighting and I am totally against that.

I have three APBTs that are with in the standard and they are not bred to fight. I belong to a community that believes in the true APBT and some of them are people that have black, red, and blue noses. And all are either right in the standard or just a few pounds over or under.

Like I said earlier this is not a thread or a discusion forum. People have thier own likes and dislikes on how they want thier dog to be. Obviously you have your own so I was just saying from the begining if you dont like the way someones dog looks and it is not to your standard you should keep your opinion to yourself.

That is what is fun about freedom of speach. I can have my own opinion about things and voice them to.

"not to your standard" ??? There is only one standard: the standard of the American Pit Bull Terrier. If you're not breeding to it, then you're not breeding Pit Bulls. Its a shame people have to bastardize the breed in order to "get what they want," or worse, make money. Give me an athlete over a tree stump any day.

Its a shame how people like to voice thier opinions over the internet bunch of internet tuff guys. If that dog was right in front of you with the owner present and they could see and hear you say all your opinions I bet you wouldnt say it. And dont write on here saying you would say it because you wont!. Leave thier dogs alone if you dont like it dont write anything dont even look on this site if you dont like it. Bunch of idiots.

Artie,

Moose is out of Pacific Pitbull Kennels. They have a website too and his parents are shown there (Geronimo and Nikki).

You can ask several of my customers that have that have that kind of dog. I have told them my opinion on that size of "pit bull". So to be polite your "And dont write on here saying you would say it because you wont!" statement is full of crap!

Bud where are you from? you nerd if you where here I bet you I would kick your ass you donkey! on this site talkin trash. You are probably a loser mad because what you believe in is not what everyone wants now days its the facts right? the APBT has changed in so many ways like that person said in the other comment. And bulldoglvr yeah what the other guy said his standard only he truley believes in standard honestly have you ever seen a 35lb to 60lb male pit now days no unless they are being neglected and a 30lb to 50lb bitch I know of Chihuahua mixes that weigh that much so seriously get a life guys things are changing like every thing else in the world so get used to it. The breeding of most of the APBT now days is for the better, better as in temperment above all. So be proud that you own a APBT even if it is not to standard. Be proud to own a breed that everyone defends all the time be proud of owning a APBT period! because the same people that own APBT even though it is not standard size is the same people saving and fighting for the APBT you ignorant asses.

I live somewhere you never would be welcome. The APBT has not changed it has been warped by wierd people. I was just at 5 UKC shows that the APBT's were to the standard. The temperment of the dogs I know are more to the true APBT than anything that you have ever seen or heard of. All of my dogs have great temperments. They don't have to much spark and they are the best with any human that I have ever seen. They see no strangers. BTW the ADBA is do the most to keep BSL out of our lives. And the "APBT" that the people like can't even get close to an ADBA ring and get a judge to look at them. So I'll keep fighting for my game-bred, "neglected" dogs that will and have won in UKC and ADBA. Plus will pass all the health tests I throw at them.
