Hawaii Dog Attack in the News
If you're in Hawaii, you may have heard about the 2 month old baby that died because of an attack by a family pet. Of course, any time a dog attack is in the news or reported by the media, the word "pitbull" is going to be involved.
However, I was a bit surprised to hear a Hawaii Humane Society representative say that they don't believe the incident was specific to a particular breed. Watch the news clip or read the transcript at KHON2.
KHON also called us to ask if we'd like to talk with them about the dogs, but neither Allen nor I really like being in front of a camera, so we referred them to a few others who may have wanted to talk and Loretta Black of Hope Kennels is the one that made a statement for the news.
