Our Raw Feeding Story

"What do you feed your dogs?"

That continues to be one of the most frequently asked questions we get. Nowadays it's often followed by a barrage of other questions.

Why? Because we feed raw.

We also set up a little resource to answer many of the questions we get about what we feed our dogs and why. Check it out HERE

There's not just reading to do there, we included some pictures too: Raw Fed Pits

Feel free to leave us a comment there to let us know what you think or ask us questions.

If you currently feed raw, PLEASE leave us a comment and tell us how it's going, why you switched, and what you love most about it.

I feed my shelter/stray APBTs raw meaty bones and their coats look fabulous. These are street dogs, usually wormy, mangy and all around nutrient lacking and raw meaty bones gets their weight up, helps rebuild the skin w/out any allergy issues and gives them pure clean protein without junk carbs. Dollar to dollar, it's the best deal out there over kibble or premade raw diets.

We do a combination of raw feeding, dog food and supplements. My knowledge of raw feeding was limited to using it to fill in a dogs flank and loin.Initially, when 808 started raw feeding, I was hesitant to try because I was afraid of the dogs choking. And I use to feed bone before, but had a little piggy of a pitbull who swallowed more than chewed--consequently he had trouble passing it out the other end.I decided to try raw feeding because one nite when I went to the 808 kennels, I noticed something different--THERE WAS NO SMELL(halelujah)!Which is not to say their kennel stank before--it just didn't even smell like they had dogs!!! Because I still do dog food, I don't have the "halelujah" smell like 808, but the raw feeding has reduced the poopie odor significantly and I have seen my dogs grow bigger, better & faster because of it!

I always wondered about feeding raw, after my first pitty mix died of cancer, the dr mentioned it might be the kibble we were feeding her. So after reading how 808 feeds their pits raw i looked into it further and started them on prey model, after 2 weeks my 2 pittys look FABULOUS! their coats are beautiful they have absolutely no smell, their poops are small and zero smell also. They took to it immediately and i love watching them eat! I'll never go back to kibble again...totally worth it!

S11129I2 It is a ugg boots ultra strange thing, to note the excess of this passion, and how it braves the ugg bailey button sale nature, and value of things, by this; that the speaking in a perpetual hyperbole, is comely in nothing but in love. Neither is it merely in the uggs bailey button phrase; for whereas it hath been well said, that the arch-flatterer, with whom all the petty flatterers have intelligence, is a man`s self; certainly the classic tall uggs lover is more. For there was never proud man thought so absurdly well of him self, as the lover doth of the person loved; and therefore it was well said, That it is impossible to love, and to be wise.

S11201I2 Some children have extra timberland chukka boots needs because they're either less timberland waterproof boots suited to schoolroom teaching or they have timberland work boots more potential that could only be realized with special teaching. Private tutors fill this timberland custom boots gap in additional education. Many teachers simply do not make enough from their day jobs. If they're good and can make more timberland high top boots money from private tutoring, why shouldn't they? If public schools can't afford good teachers, they should give them the choice of going private. http://www.officialtimberland.com/products_new.html
