Upcoming Pitbull Events in Hawaii

I meant to write about this earlier, but the LAST day of the Big Boys Big Toys show at Blaisdell Exhibition is tomorrow (Sunday). We probably won't be there, but we were there today. We had lots of fun. If you can make it down there, it's on from 11-4 tomorrow. Hawaii's Strongest Dog is there as well as some of the Team FBIers.



The next event is April 19th. There is a weight pulling competition in Hilo. Allen is going to check out that event.

The other one coming up that we know about is the Bullies in Paradise in Hilo. That one is July 19 & 20 if I'm not mistaken. We plan to attend that one as well.

Also, there is an Ultimate Hawaiian Island Bullies show coming up on November 8th. I don't have all the details on that one yet, but we are planning to be a part of that event as well.

So there is a TON going on this year. Hope to see you at one of the events!

Beautiful's puppies, born March 20th - 3 males, 7 females. So far everyone is calling for females, so good thing we have a good number of those available.

We are uploading pictures right now. Will post them soon. All the pups are blue & white.

First Puppy Has Arrived

Beautiful just dropped her first pup. All blue female with white on the chest. Will update more tomorrow. We're already taking pictures.

New Picture of "She-Mo"

Here's a new picture of She-Mo at 12 weeks. She is the half sister to the pups that Beautiful is expecting (same sire). I'm sure this looks just like those stretched pictures you see on other sites, BUT, it's not. It's just how she stands and if you've seen her sire or her brothers or sisters, you'd know they're wiiiiide.

Pups Due In Less Than 7 Days

A few posts back I talked about getting more pics of Beautiful's New Figure. So...here, they are. These were taken last week. She's due to drop on Monday, but we're thinking the puppies may be here by the end of the week. We'll see....

Beautiful's Puppies

Beautiful is due to drop in 2 weeks. We took her to the vet for an exam just to check up on her. The vet said things look good and they think she'll have at least 8 puppies (possibly 1 or 2 more). We made the mistake of giving her her morning feeding before taking her in so since her stomach was full of food it was tougher to make out each individual puppy. They did count 8 for certain, but think there is a chance there may be 1 or 2 more. We'll have to wait and see.


We are getting quite a bit of calls and e-mails about this litter, so please stayed tuned for more information if you're thinking of picking up a puppy. Price is going to run about $1500-$2000. First pick male and female are reserved for us, however there is a buyout available at $3000 if you want first pick male or first pick female from this litter.

Beautiful's New Figure

She does NOT look like that now. I really need to get a good picture of her standing for a better comparison, but for now, this is what I have.

Oops, I Forgot About Champ

Oops, Allen read the last post and pointed out that I forgot about Champ. He's another one that made big gains as well. When we weighed him in December, he was only 67 lbs (just made 9 months). We weren't all that surprised because Champ is still lean. He's no where near filled out yet and his dad, Mana Loa, was about that weight at that age too.

BUT when we weighed him recently (at 10 months), he was over 80 lbs - that surprised us. When this boy fills out, he's going to have some weight behind him!
